The New Jersey Initial Response Team (NJIRT) is a regional,
all volunteer organization based in Sussex
County, New Jersey.
It provides Search and Rescue (SAR) and specialized rescue resources to
local Emergency Services Agencies when requested. Some of our services

Important Notice: The NJIRT will be hosting an Orientation To Cave Rescue class on April 28-29, 2012. This is an excellent training for
area cavers and rescue team members to learn about the special challenges presented when rescuing someone from the cave environment. Further Information
